April Cars n Coffee

Well, for those of you who did not attend the Cars n Coffee yesterday, you missed a real treat. The Green Goat was fabulous. Amazing food and very reasonable price. Great turnout!

The Green Goat (in an environmentally friendly hybrid switching locomotive) is proud to make Wasena Station its home. Originally a rail-yard freight depot, & then home to the transportation museum, the building has sat empty since the flood of 1985. It is now The Green Goat, a must restaurant to visit!

Blue Ridge PCA Rally – Saturday April 30th

Registration will close at midnight April 24th.

Rally Meeting Time – 10AM at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, 487 Maury River Road

First Car out at 10:30AM.  We anticipate arriving at the finish line around 1pm with lunch to follow.  After lunch, folks will be free to look around the Cartorium and then folks will be on their own for the remainder of the day.

The rally will be approximately 96 miles through scenic Rockbridge, Bath, Highland, and Augusta Counties, ending in Staunton at the Cartorium for lunch.  The Cartorium is a unique car club and car storage facility where one can view eclectic cars and other automobile memorabilia.

TRSS Returns

A partial message from Brett Randolph: “It has been a long 2 years folks, but I’m happy to announce that we are bringing TRSS Street Survival back in Fall 2022!  Although we do not know the exact outline of Covid this fall, I do believe it will be safe enough to host an event and we will certainly make accommodations for Covid concerns, etc.  You all should have received an email invitation from me during planning for previous Schools and many of you instructed and/or volunteered at our previous events.  I think all of you know me by now, but just in case, my name is Brett Randolph with VDOT, and I will be chairing the upcoming Street Survival Event. ”
